This option is coordinated directly by Honor Pet in Downtown Los Angeles. CPT provides the online arrangement and payment process only.

Available Monday–Sunday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM by appointment only. Honor Pet will contact you after your online arrangement to schedule your drop-off time.
This special self drop-off price is available only when arranged online through Compassionate Pet Transport.
Why This Price Is Available
A simplified arrangement through CPT.
Honor Pet offers its own services directly to families with its own standard pricing. This self drop-off option is different because it is arranged through CPT as a streamlined online service.
The arrangement is completed online, paid in advance, and the pet owner handles transportation directly to and from Honor Pet. Because this removes pickup, return delivery, additional coordination, and the full CPT memorial return package, CPT is able to offer this special self drop-off price.
The lower price does not mean a lower standard of care.
It reflects a simpler service path: online arrangement, direct drop-off, direct ashes pickup, and essential return items.

This is not CPT full-service pickup and return.
With self drop-off, the pet owner is responsible for driving their pet to Honor Pet in Downtown Los Angeles and returning to Honor Pet when the ashes are ready for pickup.
The Honor Pet return box contains only the essential return items provided with this self drop-off service. It does not include the full CPT memorial return package, personal delivery, or expanded keepsakes included with CPT’s pickup and return service.
Step-by-step process
1. Complete the information online
You will fill out the self drop-off arrangement form with the pet owner’s information, pet information, and contact details.
2. Pay online
Payment is completed online before Honor Pet schedules the drop-off appointment.
3. Confirmation email is sent
After the arrangement is completed, the pet owner receives a confirmation email. Honor Pet also receives the arrangement details.
4. Honor Pet contacts the pet owner
Honor Pet will call the pet owner directly to review the details, answer questions, and schedule the drop-off time.

5. Bring your pet to Honor Pet
At your scheduled appointment, bring your companion to Honor Pet at 717 Mateo Street, Los Angeles. Their team will receive your pet and continue the aftercare process with dignity and respect.
6. The pet owner picks up the ashes
When the cremation is complete, Honor Pet coordinates ashes pickup directly with the pet owner.
Who handles communication?
All communication after the online arrangement is submitted is handled directly by Honor Pet. This includes scheduling, drop-off instructions, cremation updates, and ashes pickup coordination.
